Nationwide programme for ambitious startup founders with an innovative business idea

This is a national Incubation programme that offers successful applications a package of supports to help accelerate business growth and equip individual with the skills to start and grow their company.

Who is it for?

You may be eligible if:

  • You are new to business, have experience in a completely different industry, or haven’t yet successfully built or scaled a business.
  • Want to leave full-time employment and grow their own business.
  • Have an innovative business idea in a commercial market with export and employment potential.
  • Have the drive and ambition required to commit fully to building a successful startup.

  • Access to a vibrant community of founders, business experts, Enterprise Ireland advisers, Local Enterprise Offices and investors, for invaluable support and insights on your journey.
  • One-to-one mentoring with seasoned business mentors.

What can it be used for?

New Frontiers offers you an exciting and supportive environment in which to test out your idea and then start building the foundations of a successful start-up. Through the programme, individuals can access:

Phase 1 helps you to research and test the market potential of your business idea

Phase 2 is a full-time six-month intensive commitment and includes a tax-free stipend of €15,000 for eligible participants. 

Having successfully completed Phase 2, participants can apply to Phase 3 of the programme. Additional financial support will be available for eligible participants
