This grant programme encourages the use of electric vehicles (EVs) in the commercial sector, promoting environmental sustainability and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

Who is it for?

Businesses that would like to purchase eco-friendly commercial vehicles.

You might be eligible if:

You are introducing battery electric vehicles (BEVs) only (hybrids or plug-in hybrids not included)
You comply with the specific requirements and regulations outlined by the SEAI

Eligibility is subject to terms and conditions.

What do you get?

Grants for business for commercial vans (N1 category) of up to €7,600
Grants for EV chargers via the Community Energy Grant

What can it be used for?

This grant supports the purchase of new, battery-electric commercial vehicles (N1 category) only. Used vehicles or any other category of vehicle are not covered.
