A learning programme for more sustainable tourism

You might be eligible if:

• You are starting or expanding a tourism business 
• You are located in the EU Just Transition territory. 
• You are transitioning to a career in tourism from employment by Bord na Mona or ESB Networks, having previously been employed by these national originations in peat production or electricity generation using fossil fuels.

A two year learning and development programme to include in-person learning events and networking as well as live online workshops. Led by industry experts, with structured online learning, peer to peer learning and guidance and support for your specific business development needs.

• Understanding the tourism landscape, supply chain partners and agency opportunities to support you promote your business.
• Developing the skills and knowledge to make your business more sustainable. 
• Recognising how your business can contribute to regenerative tourism objectives of the EU Just Transition Regenerative Tourism and Placemaking Scheme.
• Understanding accessible tourism and learning how to create a more inclusive business.
• Learning how to grow your business by strengthening your online presence and introducing digital technology. 
• Ensuring long term success by helping you to develop or expand your business.
