Financial support to try out new business ideas and explore innovations

This programme helps businesses try out new ideas or projects by providing financial support to cover some of the costs of planning and testing.

Who is it for?

You might be eligible if: 

  • You are a small to medium business
  • You are trading in manufacturing or an eligible services industry 
  • You have been trading for at least 2 years

Eligibility is subject to terms and conditions

What do you get?

  • Funding of up £5,000/€5,800 (plus VAT)
  • 5 days of academic/specialist support to:
    • Explore current challenges within your business
    • Create a plan to address these challenges

What can it be used for?

  • To develop a sustainability plan for your business
  • To develop digitisation plans
  • To create more streamlined efficient processes for improved productivity
  • To develop an innovative new product or process
